Job Summary
Recycle Technician responsible for collecting, salvaging, sorting, and recycling materials; maintain logs and schedules; operate with safe handling of cleaning equipment and chemicals; follow safety rules and procedures; work in a team to support shift lead; communicate professionally with supervisors and customers; maintain a clean dock/collection area; understand reporting systems and environmental impacts; basic reading and interpretation of procedures and manuals; willingness to perform duties and adapt to change as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- CPR/AED/First Aid certification a plus
- May be required to have a valid driver’s license
- Completed safety and task training certification
- May be forklift certified
- Hazardous Waste Handling Training per RCRA (if required)
