Job Summary
Operate routine production machinery to produce required part quantities within established specifications and tolerances. Measure finished parts with precision tools to ensure compliance with function, quality, and cosmetic standards. Maintain logs of units produced and report errors resulting in rejected or discarded pieces. Inspect equipment prior to use for proper setup and alignment, performing basic adjustments and maintenance. Keep the work area clean, safe, and orderly while following all safety regulations.
Required Qualifications
- high school diploma (or equivalent)
- up to 2 years of relevant experience
- Willingness to follow directions
- work well in a team
- Ability to interpret and translate job specifications for production machineries
- Fundamental understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production equipment
