Job Summary
Part-time Recruitment & Orientation Specialist based in Hamden, CT, handling medical and nonmedical candidate recruitment, onboarding, and orientation. Responsibilities include sourcing, screening, and recruiting for CNA, HHA, PCA, nurses, and other roles; conducting preliminary interviews; managing onboarding and orientation sessions; representing the company at hiring events, hospitals, nursing schools, and community job fairs; collaborating with HR to ensure candidate endorsement; maintaining recruitment records and reports; and delivering a welcoming experience for applicants. Requires office presence with fieldwork for events, hospital visits, and outreach; compensation is $24–$27 per hour, with benefits available.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of recruitment or HR experience preferred
- Strong administrative skills and computer savvy
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Positive, professional attitude with the ability to engage candidates in diverse settings
- Familiarity with healthcare staffing is a plus
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are an advantage
