Job Summary
Manage end-to-end recruitment, including advertising roles, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and preparing employment offers and contracts. Deliver an exceptional candidate and onboarding experience by coordinating inductions, system access, and probation processes. Maintain recruitment compliance and records in Employment Hero while ensuring all activities meet legislative requirements and Child Safe Standards. Partner with hiring managers to develop position descriptions, provide recruitment support, and build effective talent pipelines. Support continuous improvement across People & Culture by maintaining recruitment resources and contributing to broader HR initiatives. This part-time role (2 days a week) is based in Rockdale for a not-for-profit charity dedicated to supporting homeless youth.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in recruitment talent acquisition or People & Culture administration, with responsibility for coordinating end-to-end recruitment processes
- Demonstrated understanding of contemporary recruitment practices, employment legislation and recruitment compliance requirements, including pre-employment screening and probity checks
- Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and candidates
- A proactive mindset with excellent organisational skills
- Strong communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Current Working with Children Check (Employee) and the ability to obtain and maintain a satisfactory National Criminal History Check
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working within the community services, social services or not-for-profit sector
- Knowledge of the SCHADS Award and workforce compliance requirements within the community services sector
- Diploma or higher qualification in Human Resource Management, Business, or a related discipline
- Experience using Employment Hero (HRIS) and Employment Hero Recruitment (or similar applicant tracking systems)
- Understanding of Child Safe Standards and recruitment practices within child-safe organisations
