Job Summary
Recruitment Coordinator to drive end-to-end talent acquisition for hourly/operational roles and co-op/salaried positions; manage the Co-op Ambassador program, partner with hiring managers to enhance recruitment operations, and promote the employer brand across channels. Responsibilities include overseeing full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, reporting, process automation, and continuous improvements; lead university outreach (career fairs, information sessions), manage co-op grants, and support onboarding/offboarding. Requires strong communication, stakeholder engagement, ATS experience, social-recruitment savvy, and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset. Hybrid role based in Burnaby, BC with preference for in-office collaboration on Tue–Thu; relocation assistance and immigration sponsorship not available.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of recruitment related administrative experience
- Solid experience recruiting for hourly or operational roles especially in manufacturing and/or operations
- Good understanding of social media and social recruitment tools
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and influencing skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all organizational levels
- Demonstrated track record of responsiveness, meticulous attention to detail, and proven ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong computer proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Suite, including building and using Excel spreadsheets
- Experience with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
- Proven track-record of responsiveness, prioritization and meeting deadlines
- Nice to Have Qualifications: Post-secondary degree in Human Resources or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in the technology industry is a plus
- Demonstrated growth mindset and curiosity, consistently seeking feedback, and viewing challenges as opportunities for development
- Highly proactive and ambitious, exhibiting the self-starter initiative necessary to take full ownership of projects and drive continuous improvement
