Job Summary
Recruitment and Certification Specialist for Treatment Foster Care (TFC) Parents. Responsible for all aspects of recruitment and certification, including training/teaching TFC Parents, building community relationships, and understanding Re-Education Philosophies and Community Based service components. Travels extensively. Essential duties include recruitment/retention, community relationship building, documentation/compliance, quarterly home safety inspections of foster homes, CPR/First Aid certification for staff and foster parents, monthly foster parent skills trainings, developing training curriculum and schedules for in-service trainings, and completing recertifications of Treatment Foster Parents.
Required Qualifications
- Requires a bachelor's degree in human services or a related field
- Requires 1 year of experience working with children and families
- Clearances: State Police; FBI clearance; child abuse clearance; CPSL Mandated Reporter-Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse training; any additional background checks/clearances required by state governing bodies.
- Valid driver’s license and current vehicle insurance.
