Job Summary
Recruitment Associate (Non-HR) focused on growing Grameen America's borrower base through local outreach and high-quality member service. Responsibilities include conducting outreach to attract, recruit, and retain new members to achieve membership growth targets; delivering excellent customer service via call, email, or other channels; leading weekly center meetings with current members to share program information and financial education; building positive relationships for membership and business growth; responding to questions promptly; monitoring loan activity and ensuring compliance with loan criteria; accurately inputting and tracking loan payments in relevant systems; and operating in a flexibly scheduled, in-person field-work environment in the Trenton/Camden, NJ area. Requires proficiency in English and Spanish, strong communication skills, reliability, problem-solving ability, and the capacity to work independently and as part of a team.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of High School diploma or equivalency preferred or two years of relevant work experience required.
- Proficiency in English and Spanish required.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel a plus.
- Dependent on location, valid driver’s license required.
