Job Summary
Recruiting/Training Specialist overseeing the full employee lifecycle—from talent acquisition and onboarding to training, development, and ongoing HR support. Responsibilities include managing full cycle recruitment (job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection), partnering with hiring managers, maintaining an applicant tracking system, conducting background checks, offering letters, building candidate pipelines, and recruiting metrics. Training and development duties cover identifying needs, creating onboarding programs, delivering in-person and virtual sessions on job skills and policy compliance, tracking progress, and supporting leadership development. HR administration duties include answering employee policy/benefits questions, supporting performance management, employee relations, maintaining records for federal/state compliance, and contributing to engagement and retention initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years’ experience in recruiting
- 1 year experience within training or HR
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
- Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
- Proficiency with HRIS and applicant tracking systems
