Job Summary
Recruiting Specialist responsible for end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and new hire engagement. Duties include managing candidate flow through the recruitment process, partnering with hiring managers to fill vacancies, coordinating onboarding and probationary period activities, developing recruiting and interviewing plans, sourcing candidates (including passive sourcing), maintaining candidate pipelines, liaising with agencies/headhunters, publishing weekly recruiting/status reports, and extending offers while overseeing onboarding and background checks. Requires building familiarity with position functions to identify suitable candidates, utilizing social/professional networks and job boards, and ensuring accurate applicant data in ATS/HRIS. Strong emphasis on compliance with policies/laws, collaboration with healthcare/hospitality sectors, and bilingual capability a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in business, human resources, or related field (professional work in the field of human resources can substitute for degree)
- 1-2 years in Human Resources including the sourcing/hiring of staff
- Knowledge of personnel policy and procedure, federal/state laws, local ordinances employment practices
- Ability to gain and maintain knowledge of laws, regulations and guidelines that pertain to long term care as it relates to hiring and retaining staff
