Job Summary
Source and identify qualified IT, cybersecurity, engineering, and cleared candidates for current and future technical and professional services positions. Build and maintain proactive candidate pipelines using Boolean searches, LinkedIn Recruiter, ClearanceJobs, and networking to support high-priority, hard-to-fill, and proposal recruiting needs. Conduct initial resume reviews, partner with Recruiters to transition qualified candidates into screening workflows, and maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system. Develop targeted sourcing strategies based on skillset, clearance level, and market conditions while tracking metrics and supporting business development efforts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, Marketing, or related field
- 1-3 years of recruiting, sourcing, staffing, talent acquisition, or related candidate research experience
- Experience using proactive sourcing methods, including Boolean search strings, resume databases, social media, job boards, cold outreach, referrals, and networking
- Experience working with an applicant tracking system or candidate relationship management tool
- Ability to review job requirements and identify candidates who meet required technical, professional, location, clearance, compensation, and availability criteria
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage candidates professionally and effectively
- Ability to maintain excellent working relationships with Recruiters, hiring managers, internal stakeholders, and job candidates
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate candidate records, notes, and activity tracking
- Ability to work in a metrics-driven environment and manage multiple requisitions, priorities, and deadlines
- Knowledge of recruiting compliance concepts, candidate dispositioning, and fair hiring practices
- Commitment to staying apprised of sourcing tools, recruiting trends, talent market conditions, and competitive recruiting practices
- Ability to fulfill office activities normally expected in an office setting, including remaining seated for periods of time to perform computer entry, participating in filing activity, and lifting and carrying office supplies
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to fifteen (15) pounds
- Fine hand manipulation, including keyboarding, is required
Desired Qualifications
- Experience sourcing IT and Professional Services candidates for government contracts, including developers, cybersecurity specialists, help desk analysts, systems engineers, cloud professionals, network engineers, project managers, business analysts, and related technical roles
- Experience sourcing candidates in cleared environments, including DoD, DOE, federal civilian, national laboratory, or other government contracting environments
- Experience using iCIMS, LinkedIn Recruiter, ClearanceJobs, Dice, Indeed, ZipRecruiter, Monster, CareerBuilder, or similar sourcing and recruiting tools
- Working knowledge of OFCCP, affirmative action, employment law, and recruiting compliance requirements
- Experience supporting proposal recruiting, incumbent capture, pipelining, or high-volume recruiting efforts
- Experience sourcing local, remote, hybrid, and relocation-based candidate pools for difficult-to-fill technical positions
