Job Summary

Develop and execute recruiting plans by assessing staffing needs, creating job descriptions, and sourcing candidates through industry networks, trade groups, and college initiatives. Conduct prescreening interviews, manage the hiring process, and coordinate training programs including orientation, on-boarding, and external consultant selection. Analyze employee engagement survey results, administer recognition programs, and maintain confidential records within the HR information system. Travel for recruitment meetings and career fairs while ensuring compliance with state licensing documentation.

Required Qualifications

  • College degree or pursuit thereof
  • Experience with recruiting
  • Proven candidate sourcing and relationship building skills
  • Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment
  • Type at least 50 words per minute
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • General knowledge of various employment laws and practices
  • Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills
  • Ability to work with various departments and foster teamwork
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Skills in database management and record keeping
  • Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of human resources work
  • Ability to travel for recruitment meetings, college visits, and career fairs and maintain a flexible work schedule
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
  • Gather and analyze information skillfully
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

Desired Qualifications

  • One to two years of human resources experience
  • Spa industry experience
