Job Summary
Notion is hiring a Recruiting Program Manager to design, build, and scale the systems and programs that power how we hire. The role partners with Recruiters, Recruiting Operations, People, Finance, Communications, and senior leadership to drive high-priority initiatives, including interview systems and training, interviewer pool health, onboarding and enablement of recruiting teams, and specialty hiring programs such as internal mobility and M&A integration. The position can be based in San Francisco or New York City, with in-person anchor days on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Responsibilities span building cross-functional playbooks and infrastructure to improve consistency, clarity, and scale in recruiting, plus the ability to measure program health and drive improvements through data-driven insights.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant experience in program management, recruiting operations, or a highly cross-functional role in a fast-moving environment
- High agency — you move fast, take ownership end-to-end, and don't wait for perfect information or explicit direction to get started
- A builder mentality — you're most energized when creating something new or improving something that doesn't yet work well
- Strong project management skills — you can lead complex initiatives from scoping through execution, managing stakeholders, timelines, and competing priorities
- Comfort with ambiguity and complexity — you don't need everything defined to start moving, and you know how to create structure where it's needed
- Proven ability to operate with discretion and high judgment on sensitive or high-profile work
- Strong analytical instincts — you use data to evaluate program health, spot patterns, and make informed decisions
- Outstanding written and verbal communication — you tailor your message to the audience and create clarity across all levels of the organization
