Recruiting Operations and Onboarding Specialist

Job Summary
Create and distribute offer letters, initiating and tracking pre-employment processes including background checks, drug screenings, and employment verification. Coordinate onboarding activities with HR and hiring managers to facilitate orientation sessions and ensure seamless new hire transitions. Maintain accurate candidate records and pipeline statuses within the ATS, serving as the recruiting point of contact when recruiters are unavailable. Proactively source candidates across Field, Plant, and Sales positions using LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and military platforms to build active talent pipelines. Conduct targeted outreach campaigns and apply Boolean search techniques to engage passive candidates and support anticipated hiring needs. Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in talent acquisition, recruiting coordination, recruitment operations, HR, or a related field
- Proven experience managing full-cycle recruiting coordination, including requisition management, interview scheduling, onboarding, and pre-employment processing
- Experience creating and administering offer letters and employment documentation
- Experience coordinating and monitoring background checks, drug screenings, and onboarding requirements
- Experience facilitating new hire orientation and onboarding programs
- Hands-on sourcing experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, resume databases, and other candidate sourcing tools
- Proficiency with Boolean search techniques and proactive candidate sourcing strategies
- Experience working within an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and/or HRIS
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple requisitions, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously
- Must successfully pass a confidential pre-employment drug screening
