Recruiting Manager

Job Summary
Lead and develop the recruiting team while building strategies to attract qualified CDL drivers and other key talent. Partner with Driver Operations, terminal leadership, and Human Resources to meet staffing goals, oversee candidate engagement, and manage recruiting operations including advertising, sourcing, and the employee referral program. Monitor performance, compliance, and hiring metrics to recommend process improvements and analyze data for system enhancements. Stay current on DOT regulations and industry best practices, traveling to locations and events as needed. This role supports recruiting efforts across the organization within Groendyke Transport's elite tank truck fleet.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience leading high-volume recruiting operations
- Management or supervisory experience
- Strong knowledge of recruiting practices and employment laws
- Excellent leadership, communication, coaching, and organizational skills
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Travel to company locations and recruiting events as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Experience leading CDL driver recruiting teams
- Transportation, trucking, tanker, or logistics industry experience
- Knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations
- Experience with Workday, Tenstreet, Smartsheet, or similar recruiting technologies
