Job Summary
Provide support, company, and comfort to immobile, recovering, or frail clients while reporting changes in their physical, mental, and emotional conditions. Assist with personal hygiene, including bathing and dressing, and perform basic housekeeping duties such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation. Engage clients in activities like games or walks, accompany them on outings, and assist with mobility using wheelchairs or walking aids. Manage household finances, run errands, and maintain a hygienic, safe environment. This role requires a minimum of two years' experience and is available for Monday to Friday day shifts, with flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- A minimum of two years' of experience in a similar role
- In-depth knowledge of best practices in providing personal care
- Available to work irregular hours, including night shift, weekends, and holidays
- Extensive experience in assisting clients with mobility and personal hygiene
- Ability to perform housekeeping tasks, prepare meals, pay household bills, and run errands
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, a caring approach, and physically fit
- Ability to maintain a tidy and safe living environment
