Job Summary
Recruiting Consultant handling talent acquisition, developing client-specific recruitment plans, interviewing and proactively marketing candidates to customers. Responsibilities include managing the placement process, providing employee relations support to contract employees, conducting orientations, posting positions to job boards, sourcing candidates via traditional and non-traditional methods, and maintaining candidate databases. The role requires project-oriented work with 3–12 month initiatives, problem solving with minimal supervision, applying professional skills to modify processes, and engaging with community and client contacts. On-site orientations occur at Rosemont and Libertyville, IL on a hybrid schedule (at least three days on-site). Practices emphasize confidentiality, background checks and pre-employment drug testing as requested by clients, participation in job fairs and ongoing status reporting to management.
Required Qualifications
- Two years of college education or experience equivalency
- Verbal and non-verbal communication skills in customer service environments
- Experience related to human resources, customer service and/or recruitment
- Ability to operate personal computer and/or placement software
- Flexible schedule based on business needs; may require additional nights/weekends
