Job Summary

The Recruiter is responsible for full-cycle recruitment of quality USO staff. Serve as recruiting point-of-contact for assigned corporate-level roles and at least one designated geographic region, managing all activity from identifying hiring needs and stakeholder communication to scheduling, post-interview feedback, documentation, selection, negotiation, and onboarding. Review applications, conduct behavioral-based interviews, advise hiring managers on candidate fit and salary, and extend offers. Ensure pre-hire processes including background checks and references are completed. Assist with staffing strategies, identify new sourcing channels, and act as a strategic partner in workforce planning, analytics, social media, employer branding, and recruitment measurement. Coordinate USO participation at job fairs and manage internship programs. Utilize ATS to produce reports and monitor results. This is an in-person position located in Arlington, VA.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor�s Degree in HR or related field
  • 3-5 years progressively responsible work experience recruiting for a small or mid-sized HR department
  • General knowledge of Federal and State employment regulations
  • Strong interpersonal, customer service and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and recruitment technologies (Clear Company preferred)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain credentials to access USO Center locations and facilities (SOFA status, driver�s license)
