Job Summary
Recruiter position with Surge Staffing requiring high energy and a strong phone presence. Responsibilities include delivering exceptional customer service to clients and temporary associates, conducting candidate interviews, recruiting and matching candidates to client needs, developing business leads, maintaining client relationships, maximizing billable hours, and performing various administrative tasks. Requires at least 1 year of sales experience, strong Microsoft Office skills, ability to travel to multiple locations, and a customer-service/sales mindset. Entry-level opportunity within a full-time permanent role, with emphasis on recruitment, interviews, training and retention of temporary staff, and proactive outreach for new business partnerships.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma required; or equivalent work experience/education greatly preferred
- Must have sales experience at least 1 year
- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role a plus
- Previous experience in sales, human resources, or a service industry recommended
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Internet
- Ability to travel to various locations and customer sites as needed
- Sales-minded, team-oriented and exceptionally calm under pressure
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently independently as well as in a group setting
