Job Summary
Develop and implement recruiting strategies to source candidates through job boards, social media, and networking events for DoD contracts. Conduct thorough screenings and interviews to assess qualifications and cultural fit while collaborating with hiring managers on staffing needs. Ensure all recruitment activities comply with Federal regulations and maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system. Provide regular updates to stakeholders on progress and coordinate interviews, negotiations, and onboarding processes. Travel up to 15% to job fairs and client sites, with occasional evening or weekend work to meet deadlines. Connect exceptional talent to critical defense initiatives within the warfighter ecosystem.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a US citizen
- At least four years of recruitment experience with at least one of those supporting DoD contracting
- Proven experience in recruiting for DoD contracts or within the defense industry
- Strong understanding of DoD regulations, security clearance processes, and compliance requirements
- Previous experience working in a federal contracting environment
- Familiarity with OFCCP and EEO guidelines
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Up to 15% travel to job fairs, networking events, and client sites
- May involve occasional evening and weekend work to meet recruitment goals and deadlines
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field
- CIR or similar certifications
- iCIMS experience
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software
