Job Summary
Manage recruitment processes for numerous open requisitions simultaneously, including reviewing resumes, interviewing high volumes of candidates daily, and utilizing an Applicant Tracking System to track applicants and build talent pools. Partner with hiring managers to define staffing requirements and adjust sourcing strategies, while coordinating with the qualifications team to communicate candidate status. Facilitate offer negotiations, background checks, and onboarding processes, track key metrics like Time-to-Fill, and serve as the primary point of contact for candidates and new hires. This role supports day-to-day operations for a paratransit facility in Baltimore, MD.
Required Qualifications
- Two (2) + years' experience in recruiting, working as a recruiter, or five (5) + years' experience supporting the recruiting function
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrable experience in medical industry recruiting and sales recruiting
- Solid understanding of DOT compliance requirements
- Extensive knowledge of applicant tracking software programs
- Familiarity with online job-hunting websites
- AA, BA or BS degree
Desired Qualifications
- Working knowledge of the transportation industry preferred
