Job Summary
Recruiter responsible for the entire recruitment lifecycle for technical positions, including partnering with hiring managers to understand requirements, writing compelling job descriptions, sourcing top candidates on niche platforms and professional networks, screening resumes, conducting phone and in-depth technical interviews (potentially with coding challenges), negotiating offers, and coordinating a smooth onboarding process. Stay current on trends in software development, cybersecurity, and data science; build and maintain a strong network of technical professionals; promote the employer brand to attract talent; collaborate in a fast-paced environment to make impactful technical placements.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year with full lifecycle recruiting in the federal space
- Proven track record of successfully placing candidates in technical roles
- Strong understanding of the technical recruiting landscape and current trends
- In-depth knowledge of a specific technical field (e.g., software development, cybersecurity, data science) is a plus
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in recruiting tools and applicant tracking systems (ATS)
