Job Summary
Source candidates using social networking techniques and scheduling tools, then screen and coordinate interviews with hiring managers. Maintain the full employment workflow in the applicant tracking system, including sourcing, interviewing, background checks, drug screens, and on-boarding. Support hiring managers by coaching on interview methodologies and ensuring professional execution. Build relationships with college career counselors, military transition professionals, and community stakeholders to attract talent for high-volume roles. Stay current on employment law and policies to guide hiring managers. Occasional weekend work required; travel within the assigned region by personal or rental car.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- minimum two years of experience with a hiring authority or agency
- Strong organizational skills
- attention to detail
- Ability to successfully juggle multiple requisitions at a time
- Willingness to travel by car within the assigned region
- Must be able to drive personal car or a rental car on a limited basis
- Must reside within the Garda region where the position is assigned
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in a high-volume hiring capacity for retail, banking, logistics, transportation, or security industries
- Applicant Tracking System (ATS) experience
- Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
