Job Summary
Recruiter at WEC will partner with business managers to source talent, recruit, and screen applicants for roles in diesel technology and heavy equipment, collaborating with marketing on social-media recruiting and building pipelines. Responsibilities include acting as a brand ambassador, supporting talent pipelines with college and vocational programs, partnering with hiring managers to understand position scope and qualifications, using behavioral-based interviewing, ensuring compliance with employment laws, generating reports on recruiting activities, sharing competitive intelligence on pay and benefits, supporting military recruiting initiatives, and leveraging sourcing tools and technologies to manage candidate experience from active to future requisitions. Requires a Bachelor’s degree, at least 2 years in recruiting/HR, experience with events and diversity/military recruitment, knowledge of EEOC/OFCCP, MS Word/Excel skills, valid US work authorization, and willingness to travel up to 25%.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
- Minimum of 2 years recruiting, human resources, or similar experience in a highly regulated work environment
- Experience leading and organizing hiring events
- Experience with military and diversity talent acquisition and talent attraction initiatives
- Basic knowledge of EEOC and OFCCP requirements
- Basic experience with MS Word and Excel
- Applicants must have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- Inquisitive with a passion for learning and process improvement
- Strong communication and ambassadorial skills
- Strong analytical skills and ability to measure and scale workflows between candidates, hiring managers, and recruiting team
- Valid driver's license
- Travel up to 25%
