Job Summary
Recruiter for AI Research at Anthropic. Develop and execute strategic recruiting plans to identify, source, and hire highly qualified candidates in machine learning and AI research. Partner with Research hiring managers to understand hiring needs, team matching, and required skills; enhance and implement recruiting processes and programs while maintaining an inclusive, high-talent bar; build connections with industry leaders and strengthen Anthropic’s employer brand within the research and science community. Stay up-to-date on recruiting best practices, sourcing techniques, interview innovations, and workplace trends. You may be a good fit if you have 5+ years of full life cycle recruiting supporting technical research teams, strong technical aptitude to evaluate qualifications, and a passion for AI’s potential and risks. Visa sponsorship is offered; location-based hybrid policy requires in-office presence at least 25% of the time in Seattle. For candidates, Anthropic sponsors visas where feasible and provides a supportive onboarding environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in full life cycle recruiting
- Experience recruiting for technical research teams
- Experience hiring talent that works on GenAI and LLMs
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to operate with autonomy
- Experience partnering with researchers and hiring talent in AI research domains
- Experience with visa sponsorship processes or partnerships
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth startup environments
