Recreational Therapist

Develop, plan, organize, and direct activity and recreation programs for elderly participants in compliance with CMS guidelines and physician orders. Conduct comprehensive assessments of each participant's physical, mental, and psychosocial needs to tailor group and one-on-one activities, including scheduling movies, parties, and games. Interview participants privately to involve them in planning and ensure current activity schedules are maintained and posted monthly. Provide adapted materials for impaired participants and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to select activities. Perform other duties as assigned. This role supports Care Synergy's mission to keep frail and elderly individuals at home while maximizing their comfort and quality of life.
