Job Summary
Develop and implement specialized recreation therapy services for inmates and youth to promote social interaction and prepare them for reentry. Participate in the Interdisciplinary Treatment Team to coordinate services with clinicians and custody personnel. Evaluate recreation therapy needs focusing on activities of daily living, communication skills, physical exercise, and positive coping strategies. Requires CTRS certification and one year of licensed experience. Full-time 40-hour assignment in Lancaster, CA, with orientation of 1-2 weeks. Submit resume for review.
Required Qualifications
- Certified as a Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS)
- 1 Full-Year of experience as a licensed CTRS
