Job Summary
Plan and execute engaging activity services for patients, contributing directly to their treatment goals and overall well-being. Provide continuous care, interaction, and positive role modeling to foster an environment conducive to healing and growth. Lead groups and apply psychiatric patient care techniques with an understanding of mental illness. Maintain CPR Certification and CPI prior to assisting with restraining procedures. Work flexible hours, including potential overtime, as a PRN role.
Required Qualifications
- HS Graduation, GED, or higher
- One (1) year of related experience
- knowledge of psychiatric patient care techniques
- understanding of mental illness
- CPR Certification
- CPI certification
Desired Qualifications
- Completion of Activity Director Certified (ADC) course
- experience leading groups
