Job Summary
Conduct recreational instruction and program support across gymnastics, fitness, aquatics, climbing, and pickleball in a safe, culturally inclusive environment. Build relationships with members, participants, and volunteers while answering inquiries about healthy living and youth development goals. Assist in setting up new activities, expanding sports programs, and conveying campaign information to participants. Follow all emergency procedures, safety protocols, and YMCA policies while projecting a positive, professional image. Maintain knowledge of program management and sports league operations.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to implement oral and written instructions
- 1-2 years of earlier experience working with all ages in a recreational or educational setting
Desired Qualifications
- 5+ years of working with all ages in a recreational, educational setting or coaching is preferred
- Knowledge of program management
- Sports Leagues are preferred
