Job Summary
Formulate lesson plans and skill development programs for Intro to Gymnastics and Pre Team classes while maintaining an engaging, energetic atmosphere. Provide instruction to youth of varying ages, greet parents and children warmly, and monitor a safe environment for play and learning. Work evenings from 4:30pm to 7:30pm and Saturday mornings from 9:30am to 12:30pm at the Spooky Nook Lanco location in East Petersburg, PA. Candidates must obtain PA State Police, Child Abuse, and FBI clearances prior to employment.
Required Qualifications
- PA State Police criminal history record
- PA Child Abuse Clearance
- FBI Fingerprint-based criminal history clearance
- Employment versions of each clearance (not Volunteer versions)
- 18 years of age or older
- Experienced in gymnastics and/or dance
- Extensive gymnastics, dance and cheerleading coaching experience
- Ability to demonstrate gymnastic skills in curriculum to students
- Interactive and hands-on, comfortable instructing children of various ages
- Established curriculum focusing on gymnastics, cheerleading and tumbling
- Availability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays as needed
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Dependable transportation to and from work
- Fluent knowledge of the English language
- Highly dependable with a history of consistent attendance and punctuality
Desired Qualifications
- At least 1 year prior experience working with children
- Brings integrity to every interaction, takes initiative to jump in where needed, lifts up teammates to win together, and creates an environment where positivity and kindness shape every guest experience
