Recreational/Diversional Therapist - Memory Care

Job Summary
Plan and run individual and group activities for seniors in the Memory Care Centre, supporting residents to participate in the social life of the Care Centre and wider village. Collaborate with team members to extend activities across the village, monitor resident progress, and maintain accurate activity records. Manage monthly activity programme budgets with approval from the Village Manager. This role covers 40 hours across 7 days a week for two part-timers. Applicants must hold a National Certificate in Diversional Therapy or equivalent experience, possess a full driver's licence, and be able to drive a Mobility Van. Applications close on 14/08/2026.
Required Qualifications
- National Certificate in Diversional Therapy (Level 4)
- 3 years of relevant work experience
- Excellent planning and time management skills

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- First Aid Certificate
- willingness to complete a two-day course
- full, clean driver's licence
- ability to drive a Mobility Van
- Confidence using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
