Job Summary
Plan and conduct engaging recreational dance classes and camps, creating choreography and music that align with specific themes and member capabilities. Lead sessions with a welcoming environment, emphasizing proper warm-ups and technique to ensure safe execution while incorporating modifications for diverse skill levels. Maintain dynamic energy throughout the floor to motivate participants and stay current with industry trends through professional development opportunities. This part-time, fully on-site role requires experience in Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary, and Ballet.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum one year of experience teaching recreational dance in a professional setting
- Wide range of dance abilities and knowledge across various disciplines
- Specific experience in Tap
- Specific experience in Jazz
- Specific experience in Hip Hop
- Specific experience in Contemporary
- Specific experience in Ballet
