Job Summary
Organize and lead recreational, arts, music, and drama activities to enhance the social development of clients and young adults at The Kensington Family Shelter. Facilitate physical education, social/peer support events, and group facilitation while designing aesthetic visuals for public spaces. Plan and coordinate internal and community activities, including volunteer engagement, to maximize program contract goals. Maintain professional relationships with clients, input data into the DHS CARES database, and monitor client progress toward goals. Supervise recreational program staff, coach them to excel, and prepare performance appraisals. Troubleshoot problems, administer discipline, and lead administrative meetings. Produce weekly and monthly calendars of programmatic activities and provide information for reports to CAMBA management and funders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Four (4) years of applicable experience
