Job Summary
Lead scheduled recreational activities for residents, including singing, dancing, arts and crafts, and painting. Assist in planning, promoting, and executing recreation based on individualized needs while visiting bed-bound residents and non-participants. Support volunteer programs, admission assessments, and community interaction initiatives. Manage monthly newsletters and recreation calendars, and facilitate resident transportation to activities. Assist residents with scheduling and participating in video calls via FaceTime, WhatsApp, Zoom, and Facebook. Ensure high-quality service in a caring atmosphere. Korean-speaking candidates are encouraged to apply.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Demonstrated skills in one of the following areas: music (vocal or instrumental), arts & crafts, movement/exercise, painting or ceramics
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds and be on your feet for long durations
- Completing vaccine programs (e.g., Covid-19)
- Participating in testing requirements (e.g. Covid-19, TB)
- Using designated PPE when required
