Job Summary
Provide courteous customer service to patrons, participants, and staff while answering phones and directing calls. Assist with setting up and cleaning recreation programs, events, facilities, and youth sports equipment. Maintain cleanliness of assigned work areas, concession stands, and playing zones. Keep score, operate timing devices, and communicate with coaches during youth sports activities. Prepare and serve food and beverages following food safety guidelines, requiring an active Food Handler's Permit. Greet patrons, check them in, and explain facility use and program rules. Follow established safety procedures, report unsafe conditions, and perform physically active duties involving lifting and standing for extended periods. Work scheduled shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 14 years of age at the time of hire
- Must demonstrate reliability, responsibility, and the ability to follow instructions
- Applicants 18 years of age or older must pass a background check
- Must have an active FOOD HANDLERS PERMIT
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, lift light to moderate loads (25–50 lbs.), and have sufficient vision, hearing, and mobility to perform duties safely
- Ability to perform physically active work, including lifting, bending, standing and walking for extended periods
- Must be able to work scheduled shifts, which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays
