Job Summary
Greet guests, ensure safe operation of on-mountain activities, and assist with equipment fit and use. Monitor and inspect equipment, tracks, rides, or courses daily; set up, operate, and breakdown work areas while maintaining a safe, neat environment. Check tickets, record attendance and sales, and collect, handle, and store ski/snowboard equipment. Report guest concerns to the supervisor and conduct market research surveys when necessary. Perform other duties as assigned. This seasonal full-time role covers base areas, on-mountain zones, parking lots, bus depots, and Lost Forest activities including the climbing wall, tubing, and alpine coaster.
Required Qualifications
- Proficient experience in the guest service industry
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Basic industry terminology
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to reach, crouch, kneel, stand, bend or be on your feet for extended periods of time
- Regularly work in wet, cold, hot conditions requiring the use of protective apparel/equipment to prevent exposure to the elements and may be required to walk on slippery and uneven surfaces
- Must be able to frequency lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs. individually or with assistance
- Ability to quickly adapt to changes in processes, customer flow, environments, and tasks
- Ability to engage with customers in a positive and helpful manner
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in one or more of the areas/activities described above
- General knowledge of the resort and area
- Familiarity with company rules, regulations, and operational standards
- Understanding on how to assist customers and meet their needs effectively
