Job Summary
Develop and prepare engaging curriculum and lesson plans for Preschool Pals programming, leading and supervising preschool-aged participants through arts and crafts, science projects, and activity centers. Create a fun, safe, and inclusive environment while maintaining program materials and assisting with classroom setup and cleanup. Promote classes by preparing content for Town Talk and other marketing materials as requested. Work up to 12 hours per week on Tuesday and Thursday mornings in a year-round, part-time role.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years of experience in instruction, childcare, or customer service
- First Aid/CPR/AED certification, or the ability to obtain within 30 days of employment
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift, carry, and move materials related to recreation programs and classroom activities
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and background check
