Recreation Program Development Manager

Directs and manages the City’s recreation programs across multiple divisions, coordinates goals and budgets, supervises staff, and aligns services with CAPRA accreditation objectives. Responsible for planning comprehensive recreation, volunteer, cultural, health, and leisure programs, coordinating with other divisions and outside agencies, and providing administrative support to the Director of Parks and Recreation. Develops and implements program goals, policies, and priorities; assesses community needs; oversees curriculum and special events; promotes cost recovery and revenue generation; maintains customer service orientation; and participates in budget forecasting and organizational studies. Requires advanced technical skills, strong leadership, and effective communication to liaison with staff, community groups, and partners.”,
