Job Summary
Oversee pool areas, fitness centers, ice skating rinks, and game rooms, including daily maintenance, cleanliness, and safety inspections to identify and correct operational deficiencies. Manage departmental strategies by developing goals, planning events, and supervising staff through hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations. Review financial and operational information to achieve budgeted targets for labor, supplies, and materials while supporting vendors and managing inventory. Respond to guest inquiries, model service behavior, and ensure compliance with all departmental policies and procedures. Conduct weekly meetings, coach employees on skill development, and foster a collaborative team environment.
Required Qualifications
- Solid organizational, time-management and prioritization skills.
- Minimum of two years in Recreation Management or similar role.

- Displays leadership by exemplifying excellent customer service and creating a positive atmosphere for guests and employees.
- Must be a team player who is willing to 'pitch-in' and help co-workers with their job duties.
- Should anticipate assisting other departments during the off season when operational demands are reduced.
