Recreation Leader PT

Recreation Leader to plan, implement, and lead group and individual therapeutic recreation programs for residents in a skilled nursing setting. Responsibilities include developing and guiding recreation activities based on assessed interests, documenting participation, assisting residents with transportation to programs, coordinating with volunteers, preparing and scheduling programming, and maintaining supplies. Ideal candidates are caring, energetic, organized, and capable of building meaningful connections with residents, families, and staff; must be able to lift up to 35 pounds, work in a fast-paced environment, and communicate effectively. Part-time days with every other weekend shift; education preferred includes high school diploma or equivalent, with recreation therapy certification and a valid driver’s license preferred.
