Job Summary
Plan, organize, and implement recreational programs including games, arts and crafts, music, and holiday celebrations to promote residents' physical, emotional, social, and cognitive well-being. Lead group and individual activities, provide one-on-one visits and reality orientation, and safely transport residents between activities. Observe and document resident participation and progress while collaborating with nursing staff to enhance quality of life. Set up and clean activity areas, maintain supplies, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and facility policies. Work full-time on a temporary three-month assignment in Brooklyn, NY, earning $20.00 to $24.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of one (1) year of recreation, activities, or related experience
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
- Professional demeanor when interacting with residents, families, visitors, and staff
- Full-Time employment
- Temporary (3-Month Assignment)
