Job Summary
Plan and arrange recreational activities for youth, chaperoning participants on and off-site while documenting daily activities to share with parents. Provide individualized assistance to participants requiring additional support to ensure their health, safety, and well-being during social and enrichment programs. Assist the department leader with special programs, events, and activities while serving as the department contact for second shift employees and other departments during management absence.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
- Three (3) years of directly related experience with children, teens, or adults with disabilities or diverse support needs
- Basic computer skills
- CPR Certification and First Aid Certification or must obtain CPR and First Aid Certification within 3 months of hire
- Must be able to work in wet and/or humid conditions, outside weather conditions, extreme cold, and extreme heat
Desired Qualifications
- Driver's License
- Sports related licensing
- Youth Sport Coach Certification
