Recreation Coordinator, The Landing Family Center

Organize and lead recreational, arts, music, and drama activities to enhance social development and parenting support for clients. Facilitate physical education, social/peer support events, and community programming while designing aesthetic visuals for shelter spaces. Maintain client confidentiality and security by enforcing DHS protocols, monitoring activities for unauthorized recording, and safeguarding data in the CARES database. Coordinate with volunteers, vendors, and outside partners to maximize program goals and performance targets. Monitor client progress, document supervision, and prepare reports for management and funders. Encourage teamwork among staff, troubleshoot problems, and coach direct reporting staff to excel.
