Job Summary
Provide superior customer service to homeowners, guests, and customers while promoting recreational activities, bike shop offerings, and special events. Assist with facility routines, equipment rentals, repairs, and maintenance of inventory, including opening and closing procedures. Manage monthly retail inventory, replenish merchandise, and conduct repairs on recreation department equipment. Maintain tools in working order and assist with deliveries. This full-time role includes $14.00 per hour plus tips, a $1,000 sign-on bonus, and immediate medical benefits. Candidates must be available for nights, weekends, and extended shifts, with the ability to stand, lift up to 50 lbs, and navigate stairs. CPR/AED certification is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, write, and communicate professionally with both customers and co-workers
- Ability to stand for an entire shift and extended periods of time
- Ability to reach, bend, squat, and lift without assistance
- Ability to work in the heat and/or cold, often with extended exposure to the sun
- Must be available to work nights, weekends, and, on occasion, a longer than normal workday, including event venues
- Ability to regularly lift 20-50 lbs.
- Ability to regularly navigate up to 5 flights of stairs while carrying supplies
