Job Summary
Direct supervision of clients in an assigned area and enforcement of applicable rules; assist with scheduled recreational activities and motivate participation; monitor activities for regulatory compliance; model positive client behavior and comply with policies; de-escalate conflicts using non-violent intervention; teach groups/individuals basic rules of various sports; manage and inventory recreation equipment; identify and refer clients needing medical, social services, or other program services to appropriate personnel; benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement, tuition reimbursement, PTO, and more; position is full-time and located at Safe Dwelling II Shelter (domestic violence services).
Required Qualifications
- Two years of college and one year of related experience or high school diploma and two years of related experience.
- Candidates with related experience with domestic violence preferred.
