Recreation Aide (Weekend Shift)

Implement recreation programs including outings, parties, exercises, crafts, and entertainment tailored to resident needs. Organize resident activities and trips outside the facility by coordinating movement, ensuring proper equipment, and confirming details with nursing and administration staff. Consult with family and nursing staff to determine activities meeting residents' needs while monitoring and evaluating progress through activity programs. Report observations regarding emotional wellbeing and social behavior to nursing staff as required. Maintain inventory of equipment, tools, and materials, reporting any malfunctions or supply needs to appropriate staff.
