Job Summary
Therapeutic Recreation Aide provides and implements diversional therapeutic recreation programs for individuals and groups, supports treatment under the therapist’s direction, and engages patients and families across AD, A, O, F age populations. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent; enrollment in a Bachelor’s in Therapeutic Recreation or an Associate’s degree in a related field is strongly preferred, plus two years of activity-leadership experience with physically disabled individuals. Per diem schedule, day shift, at Jefferson Health facilities in the Philadelphia region (Montgomery County, PA).
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Enrolled in Bachelor’s Degree Program in Therapeutic Recreation or an Associate’s Degree in related field strongly preferred
- Two years experience in activity leadership with individuals who are physically disabled or equivalent required
