Job Summary
Recovery Van Driver responsible for delivering food and related products on local routes using a straight truck or van. Performs DOT-required safety checks, loads/unloads orders, verifies and documents deliveries, obtains customer signatures, handles applicable invoices/payments, and maintains accurate paperwork. Drives per assigned schedule while complying with DOT regulations and company policies, with emphasis on safe, professional customer service on intrastate/interstate routes. Requires 6–12 months commercial driving experience and a High School Diploma or GED; must meet licensing and MVR requirements and be 21+ years old.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
- 6 - 12 months commercial driving experience
- Valid non-commercial driver's license
- Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable)
- Must be 21 years of age
- Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years
- Pass pre-employment drug test
- Pass road test
- Able to hand-lift and utilize two-wheeler, lift gate and/or other equipment to move and/or stack product cases/freight of varying size and weight throughout shift
