Job Summary
Respond to cases with urgency, traveling an average of 90 minutes to hospitals, morgues, or funeral homes. Review donor medical and health information and conduct full-body inspections on deceased donors to ensure compliance with EBAA and FDA standards. Perform surgical recovery of corneal tissue for transplant and medical research. Communicate clearly with team members, leadership, and external partners. Once fully trained, support and assist onboarding and training needs. This part-time, night shift role requires 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM hours, on-call rotation, and occasional 12-hour shifts every third Tuesday. No prior experience or certifications required; full training provided.
Required Qualifications
- No prior experience or certifications required - we provide full training.
- On-call or overnight work experience is helpful - be sure to highlight it!
- Experience in healthcare, mortuary science, or criminal investigation is a plus.
- Has an interest and passion for afterlife or palliative care.
- Thrives working independently and is comfortable performing hands-on procedures solo.
- In the last 5 years, the candidate must have 0 major moving violations and less than 3 minor moving violations.
Desired Qualifications
