Job Summary
Recovery Technician (PRN) at Northpoint in Edmonds, WA who provides direct and indirect patient care, participates in treatment planning and discharge planning, maintains logs and documentation, transports patients, and supports a structured milieu with a focus on safety, de-escalation, and compassionate care. Responsible for observing patients, communicating with clinical staff, coordinating activities and transportation, assisting with education sessions, and upholding confidentiality and professional boundaries while adhering to policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required
- 1+ year of relevant work experience
- Knowledge and skills in English usage, interpersonal relationships and excellent communication skills
- Must have the ability to implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the department
- Demonstrated ability to hold strong personal boundaries and ability to build rapport with patients
- Knowledge of surrounding geographic area to ensure effective and efficient routing
- Ability to organize and prioritize competing priorities and work time to balance demands
- Must perform proficiently in all competency areas including but not limited to: patient rights, and safety and sanitation
- Preferred knowledge and skills: de-escalation techniques, excellent organizational abilities, excellent written and oral communication skills, attention to detail and accuracy, client service oriented, creative and persistent problem solver, able to handle confidential material, ability to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels, strong interpersonal skills, ability to multi-task and prioritize workload, proficiency with PC and Microsoft Office Suite
