Job Summary
Serve as the first point of contact for Recovery Support Specialists during shifts, managing operational documents including shift reports, incident reports, and UA logs. Communicate shift tasks and expectations to staff, participate in disciplinary investigations, and assist with admissions, discharges, transports, and orientation. Conduct facility, room, and locker searches as required while overseeing safety, security, and scheduled counts of individuals. Track Behavioral Management System data and send weekly updates, provide training and coaching to new operations staff, and collaborate with other departments to coordinate program needs. Maintain facility cleanliness, ensure compliance with policies, and participate in pre/post-shift debriefings and weekly team meetings. Requires active CDCA certification, valid driver's license, and ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Active CDCA (Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant) Certification or ability to obtain one with 30 days of employment
- Valid Driver's License
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a residential, behavioral health, or social services setting
- Experience in crisis intervention, de-escalation techniques, and conflict resolution
- Familiarity with trauma-informed care and residential treatment best practices
- Certification in CPR, First Aid, or other relevant training
- Strong leadership and team coordination skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Skilled in handling challenging or crisis situations
- Organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to maintain professionalism and accountability
